RU2 180° THEATER TOUR 2011

RU2 has risen to become one of the best and most successful U2 tribute bands from the Netherlands.
In sight, sound and performance, RU2 recreates the ultimate U2 experience.
Since their establishment in 2006 and after playing many concerts and festivals, the band has taken the step towards the theater.
The highly successful premiere was on September 3rd  2010 in the beautiful open air theater of Maria-Hout (www.oltm.nl) .

During the 2.5 hour show, RU2 brings a varied repertoire which will cover all the styles and periods that U2 played in the last three decades.
Rousing rock classics, small acoustic ballads, the latest hits, but also the less known, but beautiful, songs are played.

Particularly noteworthy are the guest appearances (optional).
Jack van Els (singer / guitarist) with his charisma, voice and guitar performs  in a surprising ways BB King with the song When Love Comes To Town.
Opera singer Dolf Drabbels ( www.dolfdrabbels.nl ) sings the impressive and compelling  Miss Sarajevo.
A very beautiful and sensual belly dance act of Mikky Mostard ( www.rubinabellydance.nl ) in Mysterious Way and last but not least Marlies Driessen or Annelie Reijnders who will perform as Mary J Blige singing One, the biggest hit of U2 .

The spectacular and atmospheric light show, the video production by VJ Jean Rouge, makes the show a true sensation and ultimate U2 experience.
